Updates.

Since the release of our album we have uploaded two brand new tracks to our web pages.
The first track is a rendition of Edvard Grieg's composition 'Solveig's Song' from the 'Peer Gynt Suite' which premiered in 1876.
We have also done a collaboration with American kalimba player Lenox Mayes Jr. called 'Labyrinth'.

Sadly we've been experiencing some problems with our digital distribution, and we have decided to switch distributor. This will mean that our album will be removed from the stores for a short while.
The album can still be purchased at our homepage during the take-down period.

New collaboration.

We have a new collaboration track up on our pages.
The track 'Imaginary Movie' features Jim Graham (bass) & Jillian Graham (vocals)

(Bio taken from Jillian Graham Band's Homepage)

Jillian Graham: Jillian is a singer and songwriter. Her powerful and smooth alto voice has been compared to Chrissie Hynde, Martina McBride, Joan Baez and Natalie Merchant. Jillian’s songs describe love, loss & hope in relating to others and the world we share. She captures thoughts, feelings and observations in a disarming and introspective way. Her delivery is powerful yet sensitive. Jillian also provides back-up vocals and rhythm guitar for local artists and bands.

Jim Graham: An accomplished and respected session player, Jim performs and records in the Pacific Northwest. Jim has great inter-personal skills, a real team player.

Jim began playing bass in 1968 in the San Francisco bay area. He began his professional career in 1976 performing Stephen Sondheim's "Company" in San Francisco theaters. Since then Jim has done session work and performed with highly regarded artists in jazz and rock bands, orchestras and film soundtracks.

Updates.

Hi folks.

It's been a while since our last update, so we thought it was about time to let you all know what we've been up to.
The last few months has been quite hectic as we are putting together our first full length album.
It's been a lot of work, but we are slowly getting there.
We are hoping to release the album digitally before the end of the summer, but we haven't set a date yet. We are also thinking of getting a limited edition Cd pressing of the album if we can sort out the financial aspects of it.
The album will contain guest appearances by Henta and Jim & Jillian Graham.

We've also been lucky enough to become a part of Turmoil Music, a new network for indie musicians started by Frank Weyzig with a lot of talented artists.

In February we won a remix contest at No-Source with our remix of Full-Source's track 'Prior To'.
We've also done a remix of Kikai's 'Secure' as a part of Turmoil Musics collaboration project.

We are pleased to announce we now have our own homepage at: http://medicationclubmusic.net/ ,so drop by and get some free downloads.

Medication Club / Henta Collaboration

"The Medication Club joins forces with Henta (www.hentamusic.com), a Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter originally from the UK to produce a vocal mix of their song 'Drifting'. Henta adds extra melodic layers of textured, strong and emotive vocals to an already beautiful and atmospheric track. A song of few words but powerful subject matter, as she sings from the first person perspective of the polar ice caps that are slowly melting." - Henta Ellis

Death Threat!!!

We have received our first death threat by e-mail...lol... seems like we've made it in the industry;-) Here is the mail:

ASSASIN I HAVE BEEN PAYED TO TERMINATE YOU.

sharon.purcell@att.net

show details 6:04 PM (4 hours ago)

This is the only way I could contact you for now, I want you to be very careful about this
and keep this secret with you until I make out space for us to see. You have no need of
knowing who I am or where I am from. I know this may sound very surprising to you but it's
the situation. I have been paid some ransom in advance to terminate you with some reasons listed to me by my employer. It's someone I believe you call a friend; I have followed you closely for a while now and have seen that you are innocent of the accusations he leveled against you. Do not contact the police or try to send a copy of this to them, because if you do, I will know, and I might be pushed to do what I have been paid to do. Besides, this is the first time I turn out to be a betrayer in my job. I took pity on you, that is why I have made up my mind to help you if you are willing to help yourself.

Now listen, I will arrange for us to see face to face, but before that, I need $9,000. I will
come to your home or you determine where you wish we meet; I repeat, do not arrange for the cops and if you play hard to get, it will be extended to your family. Do not set any camera to cover us or set up any tape to record our conversation; my employer is in my control now. Payment details will be provided for you to make a part payment of $3,000 first, which will serve as guarantee that you are ready to co-operate, then I will post a copy of the video tape that contains his request for me to terminate you which will be enough evidence for you to take any legal action against him before he employs another person for the job. You will pay the balance of $3,000 once you receive the tape.

Warning; do not contact the police, make sure you stay indoors once it is 7.30pm every day until this whole thing is sorted out, if you neglect any of these warnings, you will have
yourself to blame. You do not have much time, so get back to me immediately

Note: I will advise you keep this to yourself alone, not even a friend or a family member
should know about it because it could be one of them.

So, if you like our sound, and would grant us the opportunity to work with one of your tracks, we would be delighted to hear from you.
We will, of course, claim no rights to the remixes we do for other people. You are free to do whatever you want with the track. If you decide to sell the track we expect no financial compensation what so ever. For us this is about exchanging ideas with other musicians and maybe learn a thing or two.
